South Creek Falls

South Creek is a major tributary to the Kern River, North Fork. A few miles before it empties into the Kern, it falls over a massive precipice and drops into a canyon below, where it continues its journey to the Kern.

In January 2017, snow melt from the higher elevations caused tremendous increase in water flow in the rivers and creeks.
