| "Ofrenda" -- offering -- or display of photographs and artifacts in honor of the deceased person. Traditionally marigold flowers were placed in the display, usually Mexican marigold or Aztec marigold —Tagetes erecta — otherwise known as cempasuchil in the Aztec language, Nahuatl. |
