A Great Horned Owl

I decided to walk around the back side of the lake a little before noon. I heard some rustling in the water near the shoreline and assumed it was a Coot. Walking around a shrub, I saw an owl in the water. What are you doing in the water, I asked? Owls don't fish in the water! It didn't even give me a hoot, but it turned its head, so I knew that it was alive.

I located a few friends to help rescue the poor owl, whom we named "Oscar."
