Lupinus albifrons. and fire

In the summer of 2010, the Bullrun fire, which started at Riverkern near
Bullrun Creek, 3 miles north of Kernville, burned this stretch of Mtn99
which had a thriving colony of this species of Lupine.
It was one of the first plants to recover.
