Palaverites are familiar with Jack's
Some Funny Things Happened During World War II,
copies of which he "raffled" on Palavers for many years.
A real labor of love was his compilation of
Dr. Jaeger's 110 articles published in
The Desert Magazine.
Jack typed each article, then printed them as a set, then bound each volume by hand-stitching - see at right.
Two other compilations were the
Palaver Invitations -
one for the first 50 Palavers,
and the other for Palvers 51 - 75.
The cover for the first booklet is a print of the
22" x 30" watercolor painting of Dr. Jaeger
by Bill Clardy.
The cover for the second booklet was designed
by Bill Clardy.
